The Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, through MPTAASC, has released a detailed notification for the selection of Principals, Academic and Non-Academic Staff in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), Kanya Shiksha Parisar and Special Tribal Residential Schools.

The recruitment will be done strictly on deputation / selection basis. No fresh regular recruitment will be conducted for these posts.

Post-wise Eligibility, Qualification & Experience

Principal (High / Higher Secondary) Regular Principal under Tribal Welfare or School Education Department,bed/Med. Minimum 15  years experice, 
Assistant Commissioner / DEO / DPC Graduate as per departmental norms Administrative experience in education department
PGT (Lecturer) Post Graduation in relevant subject + B.Ed Minimum 3 years teaching experience
TGT (Teacher) Graduation in subject + B.Ed Minimum 3 years teaching experience
Librarian B.Lib / M.Lib Experience desirable
Music / Art / Craft Teacher Degree/Diploma in relevant field Experience desirable
Physical Education Teacher (PTI) B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed Experience desirable
Lab Attendant / Assistant Grade-III 12th Pass / Relevant qualification As per norms
Hostel Superintendent Graduate Hostel administration experience preferred
 for Other post peon,driver,electrition ,plumber (visit official website)

Selection Process

  • Merit-based evaluation
  • Written Examination (for academic staff)
  • Interview / Assessment
  • Performance of last 3 years (where applicable)

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 60 Years
  • Age calculated as on 01.01.2022

  • Deputation period: Maximum 4 years
  • Extension based on performance review

SELECTION PROCESS

▶ For Principal

  • Academic Performance (Class 10 Results – Last 3 Years)
  • Interview
  • APAR / Confidential Report
  • Awards (District / State / National)

Total Marks: 50

▶ For Vice Principal

  • Written Examination (60 Marks)
  • Awards & APAR (05 Marks)
  • Merit List prepared on total marks

▶ For Academic Staff

Written Examination – 80 Marks

  • Subject Knowledge – 60 Marks
  • Aptitude & Psychometric Test – 10 Marks
  • English Language – 10 Marks

Minimum 50% marks in each section mandatory

  • Initial tenure: 4 Years
  • Extension based on performance
  • Preference given to difficult / tribal areas
  • Choice Filling facility available after selection

1: Who can apply for Tribal Department Principal posts?

A1-Only working Principals or eligible departmental officers on deputation basis can apply.

A2-The maximum age limit is 60 years
