Name of Post: Security Assistant (Motor Transport)

Classification: General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

Pay Scale: Level-3 (₹21,700 – 69,100) + Allowances

Special Allowances: 20% Special Security Allowance + Holiday Duty Compensation (up to 30 days)

Age Limit

18 – 27 years as on 28.09.2025

Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years | OBC – 3 years | Departmental candidates – up to 40 years | Widows/divorced women: UR – 35 years, OBC – 38 years, SC/ST – 40 years

Eligibility

Essential Qualifications:

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board
  • Valid Driving License for LMV (Motor Cars)
  • Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (ability to remove minor defects)
  • 1 Year Driving Experience after license
  • Domicile certificate of the applied State

Desirable: Driving License for Motorcycle

Scheme of Examination

Tier-I (Objective Online Exam): 100 Marks | 1 Hour

  • General Awareness – 20
  • Basic Transport/Driving Rules – 20
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 20
  • Reasoning & Analytical Ability – 20
  • English Language – 20
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 per wrong answer

Tier-II (Driving Test & Interview): 50 Marks | Practical Motor Mechanism, Driving Skills, Vehicle Maintenance

Minimum Qualifying Marks in Tier-II: 40%
