Pay Scale

RBI Grade B Officers will receive a basic pay of ₹78,450/- p.m. on the pay scale of78450-4050(9)-114900-EB-4050(2)-123000-4650(4)-
141600 (16years) applicable to Officers in Grade ‘B’ and they will also
be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness
Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance,
Learning Allowance, House Rent Allowance as per rules in force from
time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without
HRA) are ₹1,50,374/- (approximately). 

Syllabus

Phase I (Objective Test): General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning.

Phase-II Online Examination
The Phase-II Online Examination will be conducted on December 06, 2025 only for the candidates
who are shortlisted on the basis of results of Phase-I and based on the cut-off decided by the Board.
The Phase-II examination will be in shifts

Phase II (Descriptive & Objective): Paper I – Economic & Social Issues, Paper II – English (Writing Skills), Paper III – Finance & Management / Economics / Statistics (as applicable).

 Interview
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II
(Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III)

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING ONLINE

Step-wise Instructions:

1. Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on September 01, 2025 are first required to visit the URL “Direct Recruitment for the post of Officers in Grade ‘B’…” on the Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in > Opportunities@RBI > Current Vacancies > Vacancies and click on the hyperlink “Online Application Form”.
2. Enter basic details and upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration as per specifications.
3. Click “Click here for New Registration” to register. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. Note it down carefully.
4. If unable to complete in one go, use “SAVE AND NEXT”. Candidates should verify details carefully before final submission.
5. No changes allowed once “COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON” is clicked.
6. Name of candidate/father/husband must match with ID proof. Any discrepancy may disqualify candidature.
7. Validate details and save application by clicking ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’.
8. Upload Photo & Signature as per specifications.
9. Fill other details of Application Form.
10. Preview and verify entire form before clicking FINAL SUBMIT.
11. Modify if required, then click ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ only after ensuring details are correct.
12. Click on ‘Payment’ tab and proceed for payment.
13. Click on ‘Submit’ button to complete the application.
